This just made me think, if Neural Link gives people the ability to perform certain talents they couldn't before, like painting. So I could finally paint the images from my dreams to photo realistic detail.
And then it made me realize, the device is literally in your head, so, would it have the capability to store, your memory, and your dreams for you? Could it one day, become advanced enough to record, and then play back your dreams like a film?
Maybe I'm stretching the concept too far. But, that would be kind of cool.
The rest of it seems concerning, the medical and societal applications it would have would be revolutionary in some very positive ways.
But, in other ways it, could definitely end up going very wrong. And, well, in humanity, things tend to go wrong usually.
We try to fix one thing, and cause another problem thats worse than the thing we fixed.
