and, i haven't researched anything so i don't know what the real reason is she was given such an unusually short sentence for pre-meditated cold blooded murder,
but the way it's depicted in this video,
it seems like people felt 'sorry' for her severe self loathing demonstrated in the pages of her journal, and thought she was a bit mentally ill and so they decided to give her a shorter sentence
like, if that's the reason she was given that short of a sentence, well, it's very lucky for her, and, very unfair for everyone else given life sentences...
