The original question (which I answered twice and you ignored me lol-- let's see if you notice the third time I responded) was on page 9 of Jim's "sug" thread.

But I can answer that one, too.

For the sake of my apocalypse story (hint: that's the only context that matters bc I'm usually not talking about real life when I come to this shithole :P) there's a world of difference.

"Icky" is a word that comes from experience.

"Sexually inappropriate" is a judgemental term that a social worker would use.

Again, there are no judges no social workers, and no courts in my story. Judgement comes from individuals, and is often swift and violent.

And did you realize that at least one, if not half sound like rhetorical questions designed for the purpose of spouting your own imagined superiority?

So I answered "There must be a leak." And rather than respond with a more rational "Ok I'll call the Housing Authority later. Aren'tcha glad they fix these things for us for free?" The bitch slammed the door and muttered under her breath, coming up to me every 10 minutes for the next hour or 2 to ask why the cord on the phone was tangled and the comb behind the bathroom sink was lying with the rat tail end pointing north instead of south, where the dust in front of the front door came from, etc. etc.
