She seems to want to appeal to Lena's sympathy or guilt. In a lot of her "attacks" it is trying to pin Lena for the consequences of her own actions. And if attacking directly doesn't work, how about self-harm? Doesn't Delora have a history of this? Maybe it's because they were once friends.

Yes, mostly towards her husband. Hearing how he's the victim has her try to one up him, and when things aren't going well it's been a go-to more than once.
