if you need to use common sense or logic to understand others it's not any type of empathy, it's experience

high amounts of both cognitive empathy +affective empathy 100% lead up to a form of over thinking - over caring, i never met a person who could skip past that intuitive reaction in fact

I'd still see thinking on subjects to an excessive degree having the value of mental exercise. By being in the habit of thinking it can become that much easier to keep thinking.
