do you have it?
do you create it?
will it come back after you've lost it?
or is it nested in an arbitrary framework of needs that you cling onto to protect you from staring into the void?

I believe everyone has it in them, but it takes time and trials to find yours.

you can get passion, it's rarely inherited
you can create it too
drive? in most cases it's caused by external factors if not all, i don't really believe the "power inside you" inspiration is required for drive
will is rare, very rare, takes both huge ego + huge persistence, not sure how to describe it, in my opinion it's naturally given by your design
"nested in an arbitrary framework of needs you cling onto to protect you from staring into the void"
gonna steal that line, it's beautiful and powerful
it's pragmatically correct but not absolute
given free time and no obligations, i will find myself gravitating to the same things i always have. that is: learning about computers or being involved in them in some way, reading things i think are interesting, having some creative output, trying to find interesting people, and playing some kind of competitive game.
most of my motivation for action in life comes from wanting to be able to pursue those desires with as little intrusion as possible. the passion is already there, in that i never run out of a desire to learn, or improve, or discover, or interact. the drive and will vary in proportion to my situation and where my mind is. as time goes on, i'm gaining a lot more drive and will, because i want to be able to finally relax and do what i was meant to do, with almost zero intrusion.
i don't think what i am passionate about is an arbitrary framework to keep nihilism at bay. i've been interested in the same basic things my whole life. if anything, "looking into the void" had fucked me up for a while because i developed a negative perception and was less able to just enjoy life. but that's mostly a thing of the past.
i took the survey, so now it's your turn.

I'd distinguish between passion and drive/will. I think I've got passion in the absence of drive.
As for the void, I think it demands at least a glance every now and then, which is probably necessary for recalibrating the needs. Staring is counterproductive though.
