With the way SC reputation's proliferated from the ones trying their hardest to keep themselves away, it's more about how it's been advertised as a haven for people like you and Jim, while Med/NImp/Blanc behave more like regulars I've seen on other forums.

passively that would increase the <<quality>> and people would had to invest (copy pastas / spam not allowed)

So you'd have it be the mod's job to look up every potential copy/paste? Lolol. 

Step number 3:

make events

subhumans or not people love drama, and this shithole has tons of it, if you are going to have chaos, at least control it to give it some applicable form 

Movie Night's a good start for giving this place a potential draw, this one actually makes sense. 

It's once they're already here that they'll have room to integrate, and even if we just have a movie crowd on certain days that isn't here for other ones it's better than the alternative. 

what i would do for example would be:

debating-schizo-conspiracy events every 3 weeks- winner gets a special name or smth idk, or maybe his name on the top of the site pinned

e-battles/ trolling battles

- the winner gets a special tag of the "supreme cyber alfa" or like "aspd silverback"

Who would even judge 'the winners' in these cases? 

We did have a battle between Inquirer and Legga that went pretty well and got a good deal of attention, and that even extended into a debate in the chat as their part 2 (with Jim as the judge). By the end of it even with a declared winner (Legga), much of the crowd refused to believe Inq would lose and turned on Jim's judging (which was surprisingly impartial and professional). 

It'd be fun if it gave like... a decal or earned title on their account that they could checkbox on/off from their profile, like how winning titles in MMOs works, but that's getting a bit dreamy on my end when I'm not the one programming it. 

any event that gives a reward and promotes competition, would do, if you want to offer some peace? make an investing event/ knowledge event/ even coding event

just promote anti- apathy in general

It's the modern day cope to say they're above caring though, as a way to avoid the problem and convince themselves that they aren't weak. To face anti-apathy is to face their own feelings, and that's just too much for most people especially here.

You're also using archetypes to avoid looking at the people behind them. Jim had reason to take it seriously, and if you really knew him you'd understand what those are and why that is. 

The real problem was over the perception of reputation, but if you read their debates it has a very clear winner. He actually kept it formal and structured without taking sides, their only complaint was over who won. When if you look at their exchange as a sporting debate rather than a popularity contest, Legga won.

Quite the contrary, they're afraid of this website's culture digging their claws into the openings in their armor, and rather than learning to transcend the armor by toughening their skin they've chosen to shrink back and hope someone else fucks up instead. 

Save for how much your topics have taken up the front page, you're largely ignorable to the point of being a meme. There's others here who with their experience are a little too quick at dissecting people, and as I've otherwise explained before a lot have grown tired of feeling like they could be torn apart easily by their fellow company, if not externalizing their own blame by blaming the website for 'bringing this terrible behavior out of them', a cope to not have to take responsibility for their own actions. 

People are afraid of making a mistake here, especially the older members, over how much of their history's been gathered up to this point. This place subverts the idea of "Better the devil you know than the devil you don't" as they try to surround themselves with new people who don't know their terrible terrible shame.

It's more like no human can escape their own emotions, but said emotions could push them to insist on caring for others more than themselves. 

As a contrarian point of argument though, there are disorders that could make for one who is aphasic to their own feelings, such as Alexithymia victims. A surprising amount of people when asked to self-report on their feelings can't do so with much accuracy, hence the issues I have with the Myers Briggs test.

I've heard this moreover posts from people like Cawk and Jim, and those sentiments have echoed as a platform of convenience for others to try to keep people away. 

Said edgelords usually like people who are easy to pick on, hence why this place got insane amounts of traffic when Psychopath Dave showed up. It's always been about attacking the low hanging fruit, then when blood's in the water others jump in. This place gives people permission to rip people apart, the only problem I'd say that's persisting now is over how many people are trying to Stoic-Cope, burying their feelings behind a persona that, these days, people are too gunshy to risk it's slippage from past experiences with failing to prior.

The people here are simply too seasoned now, too grizzled. It's hard to trigger them in any meaningful way, save for if they were to... I dunno... be accumulated into some sort of Youtube compilation to draw in the lazier half of the peanut gallery? 

The issue is that you keep coming here expecting some cool kid's club, rather than a circus of freaks. Accept the circus, you're one of the attractions. The freedom this place invites allows for anyone to tear into anyone for their behavior alongside their freedom to respond back at them.

Once you figure out a way to hurt someone beyond the surface level, you'll begin to understand how this website works. If you're just barking shit at people you'll never break them, but if you actually dig into them, learn everything there is to know about them, then go for their vulnerable areas? That's what'll have you on the level of this website's most successful, rather than the sad sacks that don't know how to push anyone.

The reason why I see a movie streaming function as a great idea is over the history of the users' behaviors around it. For years around the Fall there's usually someone trying to host a movie stream with chat functionality, with movies such as A Clockwork Orange, Repo The Genetic Opera, Party Monster, Boss N****r, and many many more. There's also been other users pushing for similar sentiments as topics on here and I've had the pleasure of watching stuff with multiple SC people here either through actually watching it together or exchanging titles, so clearly there is a draw related to movies and shows. 

You'd have to be straight dysfunctional to think that movies and shows aren't entertaining to people, wtf do you think this whole streaming platform craze has even been about?
