I briefly visited the old version of this forum, and I've gotta say this is a far cry from it's previous levels of interest. From a cursory glance the most obvious difference seems to be the post quality.

There's very little here for a casual or unindoctrinated (?maybe not a word lol) member to interact with. Seems to largely be personal beefs and the echoey manifestos of genuinely insane people.

yeah there were some periods like that. not sure about 40 active without puppets, but definitely more than we would have active now

when i say i like the state of the forum now, i'm meaning where its at in terms of social dynamics. i don't miss the days where everyone would be freaking out trying to figure out who a puppet is, or when people found safety in numbers bandwaggoning against people like dex...that shit was lame. what i like about this current iteration of sc is that it's probably the most apathetic form yet. hell, i can't even get the developer to fix bugs for money (i've tried)

we could probably have more users if we ironed out the bugs a bit and did some outreach. i would be doing these things myself, if i cared enough about social theatrics enough to need more of that. but right now i don't see the point

True, since leaving Luna we don't have as many photos of prolapsed anuses, vomit, dead animals, people shitting in each other's mouths...
