A missed opportunity there, by Samsung, should have left her in, which would have made the phone quite a bit more famous. But they must still think people listen to the media that would bash them for it, saying Samsung is now only for sexists or w/e.
Maybe if they made her gay and said its an anti-gay message, sure it would alienate a few of their customers, but I believe the gain is far greater.
