I always found Ecclesiastes to be rather blasphemous, I usually reference it to undermine someone else's argument.
Have you looked into what Angels really look like?
It is Solomon's in my opinion, because he disobeyed God and pursued power and the World and realized it is empty and worthless without God
I like Solomon sought wisdom and the reason for life above all else throughout my life
Ecclesiastes attempts to sell Nihilism, but only goes about 2/3 the way there.
prob because he remembered his first love
More likely he substituted God's Love in place of the uncaring void that's otherwise there.
tell me this, would you rather I be an uncaring witch that wanted to destroy the world or a soft gentle christian? maybe believing just because the results are beautiful should be enough reason to believe
As a hard determinist, I don't feel like these things are really a choice.
I also overcompensate for my disorders by trying to keep things tethered to a reality outside of my own beliefs, as belief cannot be trusted. The minute I start giving in to faith doctrines is the minute I go more certifiably nutbar over my potential room to disconnect from the objective reality through it.
Rather than adopt delusions, I'd rather work reductively until the things I follow demonstrate a relativity based on those around me, based on how crowds of unrelated people could see something in common with one another. I'd rather filter through the bias and bullshit until all that's left is relative data than descend into a solipsist daydream, even if that world's a bit grayer and more drab than the imagination.
