Strangely, I'm taking supplements and doing other things to try and promote endogenous oxytocin production. Is schizoid personality disorder correctible (or helped toward so) with proper oxytocin and/or dopamine management?
Did you mean "oxytocin" or "oxycontin" though?

From what I have read, it tends to have the effect adrenaline has to its own area of triggers: amplifying certain preconditioned behavior and physiological responses. Oxytocin promotes in-group bonding and out-group rejection/aggression. In males it promotes hierarchical harmony, while in females it is typically responsible for maternal aggression and offspring recognition, etc.
Do you have schizoid personality disorder? Who diagnosed this?
