imo, it's far more shocking to shift from a condition of being constantly partying, going out, drinking, fucking sluts daily etc to being locked down bc of a meme virus for months on end than it is to live in a warzone/concentration camp or sum bs simply bc the latter is already conditioned to deal w it.
