Some of the worst cases here are the ones who insist nothing's wrong with them, as if a doctor having never diagnosed them at all promises them a clean bill of mental health. Others even if they were told the truth likely wouldn't understand it, and to even get to those truths they'd need to be being honest with both their clinician and themselves.
Then of course we've had people like Psychopath Dave and ThrillKill where they instead go out of their way to claim they've been diagnosed, and people like 3xp who's actually killed someone before.
You'd probably have noticed what's going on here if you weren't so busy self-monologuing and daydreaming.
Because in my experience npd's and bpd's and even dpd's or hpd's are highly socially functioning assuming they got enough intellect for it.
Only if you cherry pick and romanticize it, like people who watch Sherlock to learn about sociopathy.
