This answer is probably going to come off as cold, but I see it as the truth. The collateral damage is likely better than not rolling out vaccinations, for both health and economic reasons. I find it difficult to believe that of the 2,794 reported cases of death of people who have gotten vaccines, that in no case the vaccine contributed to death. The story you started the thread with seems like a good illustration of that the CDC is underplaying things.

CDC and FDA will continue to investigate reports of adverse events, including deaths, reported to VAERS.It is possible that there is some kind of damage control going on in concluding that the vaccinations never had any contribution to the deaths. Still, 0.00167% is a pretty respectable number.
But those people may not have even gotten the virus and vaccines are not supposed to be able to kill you. I don’t care what they prevent. I agree with the question of what happens in three years? Will the vaccine stay in your system and kill you somehow or turn into a soar crazy version of the virus? They don’t know because it’s UNTESTED for its long term safety.

I've had so many vaccines from traveling to weird places and I've never gotten sick from them. I'm not worried. Plus, by the time Canada gets enough vaccines the rest of the world will have done a pilot run. I can't wait to get vaccinated and travel and end this boring never-ending lockdown bs.
