doing the same with chapo...thinking persistence gets you what you're after

because not getting it does not compute

you're living your life in a loop, never evolving

when one day you wake up and realize you wasted your whole life hanging onto a dream

that you couldn't let go of, because in the reality you created, it's all there was

you will likely develop florid psychosis

until then you'll keep doing the same thing every day

 I disagree about your future-casting. The worst of it was right around the time my dad died from the stress of that. I haven't had that many hospitalizations.

So, What do you suggest?

it's the cliche, but therapy

if you keep going for the same things...the same guy, the same job, for years

and it never pans out, while your life is passing you by

the alarms are not going off for you because you are still fixated

on the things that never worked

the problem is that you've sunk everything into a few things

My new doctor (who also does the therapy) is not a help to me. I am not happy with the quality of my life right now. I have kept on spinning my wheels researching different future paths and not choosing anything. I got a WFH gig for the next couple weeks supposedly and I want to buy myself a Peloton and get shredded. I'm thinking about some plans that could increase my career prospects but would require school. If you're interested in hearing. Work >school I know but school is my default.
