No. You. Did. Not.

lol I pored over your responses just to be sure.

Not well enough apparently, I've even explained it more than once.

All you offered that came anywhere close to "the script" was that 9/11 lest we forget pic.

Then you posted a bunch of vague jabs at w/e lack of intelligence you seem to believe is causing 3 people

TO NOT BE MIND READERS.

You must have read like two posts and then very heavily skimmed.

"You should already know what the script is, u tard" is not an elaboration lol

I then proceeded to explain myself as Alena and I continued talking, but my answer was at the bottom of page one. There's even reiterations and further elaborations, I'm not sure how you could have missed it.

They were asking for specifics from my making a general statement, which then following was snark and babysteps to help it be understood without it being friendly.

Look past the snark and the answers are in there.

You could just admit that your psych degree is inadequate to the task of offering a sound political commentary and... oh... look stuff up.

If you'd read this topic, you'd see that their requesting specifics had nothing to do with my point.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has a solution to the current U.S.-Russia friction — a public debate with President Biden.

Considering how his meeting in person with Trump went, this is pretty genius.

Go figure it'd take another country to challenge the government script we're fed.

What government script are you referring to, specifically?

Don't tell me you believe what the US government tells you, that's sad.

Do you not know what the script is?

Everything the government tells us after it's been filtered enough for human consumption.

Ignoring their own personal agendas, keeping the peace is considered paramount, and as such we'll never be given the whole truth.

Bottom of page one.

"Everything" is not an adequate response to "be more specific"

LOL

And yeah, asking you to elaborate on a specific facet of "the script" when you're trying to speculate about how a meeting with Putin and Biden would proceed, and then be reinterpreted by American media IS relevant to the discussion.

Unless ofc you're attempting to shut the discussion down with "It's all a moot point anyway bc this meeting will never happen, therefore SCers debating what Putin and Biden might hypothetically debate would be a waste of time."

And I suspect you would not be wrong.

The Script is just meaning 'What The US government tells it's people', as I've explained in a variety of forms now.

From the looks of it you only read one word of the post before returning to sperg.

Unless ofc you're attempting to shut the discussion down with "It's all a moot point anyway bc this meeting will never happen, therefore SCers debating what Putin and Biden might hypothetically debate would be a waste of time."

No, I said it was a smart idea on Putin's part to propose this debate when it comes to dismantling US propaganda, that's been my only point.

Seriously, just read the topic instead of pretending you did, the end of the Alena + I conversation more than spells this out for anyone who'd bother.

And I suspect you would not be wrong.

I wasn't trying to make a point on specifics, but rather a specific point on their demands for specifics when I was just making a general point.

The aim on my part was never a political flex, but rather a semantic one.

Btw, that opentextbooks link I posted does look pretty good.

Read the last 3 books on the list, and the second one.

There are a few others that I might like to read myself, for personal interest.

I rather enjoy US Constitutional Law (even tho it's not my forte.)

Your system of checks and balances and the way it's applied is the biggest difference between US and Canadian governing.

Our system is all based on custom and crazy amounts of trust.

I'm amazed the Canadian system works at all.

It would be good for me to actually learn more about this stuff, I've mostly gotten away with coasting on figurehead psychology and demographic sociology; The people rather than the content.

Also, "what the US gvt tells people" changes when the leadership changes, as MissC was saying.

"Covfefe" is very different from "no we won't be helping Justin Trudeau build his pipeline."
