 I think if someone has burnt you it's a good bet they will do it again if given the opportunity, not a certainty ofc but it would take a special person for me to give a second chance

 Fair enough.  Just because someone else restarts, doesn't mean you have to (with them).  You can see by the reactions people are having here regarding your new or old status to the forums, and get an idea where they are on that spectrum (and maybe others).
