if you guys could see the full extent of my glory, my glory would enter into yours . this is not the only form i hold in this world, but my others are difficult to grasp. and seeing is something that has to be practiced for a long time in order to really see.

it's not a nuanced principle but the underlying message is that people always express what they're truly feeling, in one form or another. even if they claim it's jokes

but people also make jokes, so it's a tricky rule of thumb

I was going to object to this, but then you wrote your last sentence. Yeah I know what you mean. I guess I have narcissistic tendencies. But it shows in completly different ways than what I display here when I say I AM THE BEST etc. 

Yes, there has to be room for jokes too, where we dance with the things that plague us and ridicule them and even imitate them, all to get a grip
