So anyways it's me now
Are you not?
You may be surprised, but I am quite discriminate. I catch and release the spiders I find. Even flies, if I can get them out an open window. I really do.
That's on you, but what about the boot's affect?
A boot will typically squish a spider, but if you can find me some cool armored spider that's boot-proof that'd be pretty cool too.Did you just ask me about the boot's feelings?
Nono, it's affect, how spiders tend to respond to a boot on top of them.
I think that's more properly called an "effect", either way, at least how you constructed that sentence. Jeez, I can hear Aizen going on about how autistic this makes us.
Affect is what something does, while the effect is closer to what follows the doing.

I'll get back to this discussion later. For now:

Ok, where this went wrong: My issue was in that the stopper was specifying bugs and the thing to be stomped was a spider -- arachnid, not "bug". In squishing a spider that's acting indiscriminate versus the specificity of "bug" being the target. It's not about how the effect or affect pertains to the spider. Sure, a stomp would be the same for a bug or a spider, but the issue lies in the fact that the stomper is indeed being indiscriminate, even if he is wrong in his classification of "bug".

Bruh I'm on a half busted phone and can barely write so I don't care about the grammar of others

Grammar of others? lol Why are you bringing that up here?
