I have to thank you ddddddd, this thread has had a positive impact on my state, the book that I wouldn't have read for a while without this thread is pretty fun.

"Normal people search out situations where they can be the king. This includes hobbies,
developing special talents or useless knowledge, addictions, the angry or bitchy shopper,
the irate tenant, bossy or cranky eaters, joining political groups, developing severe
psychological symptoms, and other normative activities."

You should check out Lessons in Apathy - A Guide to Not Caring Your Way to Not Unhappiness. It has stories about the dude trying to cut his arms off with a chainsaw after he took cat tranquilizer and duster, him being apathetic to his wife banging some other dude, and making fun of his daughter's poetry. Best book I ever read.

Lavey's satanic bible

I found it to be really boring, I am somewhat drawn to the occult but lavay's stuff is much more like an actual religion that I thought it would be. I thought the bible aspect would be just to fuck with christians more than anything serious

I've seen his videos, as well.  I picked up the book after I listened to him on a podcast, though.

The big fix

https://www.amazon.com/Big-Fix-Hope-After-Heroin/dp/1580056032/ref=nodl_

After surviving nearly a decade of heroin abuse and hard living on the streets of San Francisco’s Tenderloin District, Tracey Helton Mitchell decided to get clean for good.

With raw honesty and a poignant perspective on life that only comes from starting at rock bottom, The Big Fix tells her story of transformation from homeless heroin addict to stable mother of three—and the hard work and hard lessons that got her there. Rather than dwelling on the pain of addiction, Tracey focuses on her journey of recovery and rebuilding her life, while exposing the failings of the American rehab system and laying out a path for change. Starting with the first step in her recovery, Tracey re-learns how to interact with men, build new friendships, handle money, and rekindle her relationship with her mother, all while staying sober, sharp, and dedicated to her future.

A decidedly female story of addiction, The Big Fixdescribes the unique challenges faced by women caught in the grip of substance abuse, such as the toxic connection between drug addition and prostitution. Tracey’s story of hope, hard work, and rehabilitation will inspire anyone who has been affected by substance abuse while offering hope for a better future.

Review

“Tracey Helton went from street junkie, hooking for heroin, to wife, mother of three and PTA treasurer—a tale of one woman’s rise out of despair and enslavement to find self-reliance, joy and hope. As we face repairing the wreckage caused by our nationwide opiate scourge, her story is one so many Americans now need to hear.”
—Sam Quinones, journalist and author of Dreamland: The True Tale of America’s Opiate Epidemic

"Heroin is a journey into darkness. Tracey Helton Mitchell tells the vivid and inspiring story of how she found her way to sunlight. . . . Tracey is a remarkable individual who's written a vivid, honest and moving book about addiction, courage and hope."
—Steven Okazaki, Academy Award-winning filmmaker:Black Tar Heroin and Heroin: Cape Cod, USA
