At 374,000 views, this is the most popular video I've uploaded. I'm not taking credit for any of it, I just pirated shit and gave the people what they wanted. It's still interesting to read the comments, and also to think about the sketch itself.
Lol at little tiny podunk firm. Also woman visits boss and tells him about new, fuel surcharge. He asks whether that will come out of her paycheck. She did not handle that well in my opinion. I’ll have to think about how I would have handled that
In my opinion, it's more about how people are trapped in what they do.
The CEO hates his life, and he's probably worn out by the day-to-day bullshit with his employees. The employees are just trying to get by, and the woman was nervous because she knew how the CEO would get. It's not just about how people in an office are interacting; it's about how the 9-5 wears people down until they can't even stand being around each other. There's a bit more to it, but that's my 2 cents.
OK, so I asked someone who would know how to avoid a boss saying “we’ll take that out of your paycheck
because I think the way I would have handled that would have gotten me fired =) (Perhaps if I did though it would save a mostly unfunny comedy)
The approach would be to ask what the company policy on transportation is BEFORE going on the road. (I heard it as a fuel surcharge.)
This sketch is not reality at all, you know. “CEO” would be removed for his tantrums and wanton destruction of property.
Sorry I think the Onion may be funnier than Adult Swim. I have not read your youtube comments, though.
As for office, I recommend an outsider computer programmer by day, meth addict by night—-Mr Robot. I’ll try to find a representative video,
You're missing the point of something being an abstract portrayal of a circumstance in life many people find themselves in, for thinking about whether it would be right for if a CEO said he would take something out of someone's paycheck. You're paying attention to the wrong details.
