It's a power move depending on how much it clashes with your appearance. If you do it too well then you just look gay. It also depends on what hue of pink it is, as typically faded looks a little classier than the alternative that borders on Lisa Frank's bile. 

Pink also used to be a manly color for how much it stood out, while Blue was the feminine color for being more reserved as recently as the 19th century, so it's all arbitrarily relative beyond the color functions themselves. 

Pink's based on red, which is a passion driving color, so the question more ought to be if you want to be subconsciously pushing people like that.
