Ever since the pandemic started, we've stopped giving kisses as greeting. Normally when you meet someone of the opposite sex (usually among young people) you give a swift cheek kiss. It feels so distant now, almost alien. I give elbows these days to my colleagues and I miss hugging. We all tend to subconsciously social distance more. For a semi-latin country like mine that's something of an adjustment. Masks aren't my biggest concern, you get used to them, but girls complain about skin issues sometimes. However I do wonder if not seeing stranger's full faces anymore has a societal effect, also subconsciously.

masks suck, no doubt. I usually wear one when I go out. Surgeons wear masks to prevent infection to their patients. So the masks must work, at least in one direction.
You know what those surgeons also do?
Keep those masks in sterile environments and change them every 30 minutes because they greatly lose effectiveness with time.

This also happens around here. I don't like it, used to avoid it, and just autism out of it when the person wasn't full own jumpy huggy. Good riddance to monke face touching.

I am NOT being defensive, okay? Never ever in my life have I done that.
It's ridiculous to assume that, look, if I were defensive I would explain how I'm not doing the things that you claim. For example I'm not a covert narcissist, there are simply not enough clinical criteria to fit the term.
Furthermore, not only that I'm never defensive, I'm also not hopeless. I have hopes and dreams too you know? I'm gonna make it eventually, just enjoy my life with animu games and some easy way of getting money. It's pretty nice in caparison to seeing how some struggle just to be unhappy in the end.
