I highly recommend just scrolling through this if you're bored and you like all the same things I like
this is like heaven to me. all the things I love. she's beauty, she's grace, she's my Pinterest page
also here's a song to listen to while you do it because without music the mood gets boring
Check it out on asos:
it comes with the belt
it's really cute
it reminds me of American apparel which, used to be sooo popular back in the day. no one probably knows what I'm talking abut but
if you were a Tumblr hoe back in like 2012-2014 it was allllll the rage and all the instagram hoes were wearing it
I remember in California they had this stand alone store and I like adored it so much, it had the most beautiful location too. like it was up on a cliff over looking the water, just this big white building. very modern and cool.
and then nothing else on the cliff, just open space and sand.
unfortunately I revisited that location one day and the store was gone, and American apparel seems to have really gone down hill since then.
so maybe this skirt has like really positive associations in my brain and like nostalgia for me in a way and that's why I like it so much.
the other issue with American apparel is that it really only looked good on skinny people and they only marketed their brand using very tiny anorexic instagram models
I remember in the store, all they had was like size zero girls working in there, and on the racks everything was like very tiny, very limited. kind of like Abercrombie is…
so that may of also been the downfall of the brand… ultimately.
this skirt, I found in a try on haul from a girl who looks healthy and isn't anorexic, and it appears to have a lot of stretch to it so it's like a better version of American apparel.
American apparel clothing were very fitted and structured and had zero give.
the only issue she said she had with it is that it was too short to sit down in
which is a huge frustrating issue for me with skirts especially because I have an actual ass. a lot of skirts, dresses, shorts. just don't fucking cut it. I know that's TMI but like, I feel like my ass isn't even that abnormal, so I can't image how people with the BOOTAY must feel. the struggle really appears to be real for girls with CURVE, just finding a pair of jeans to suit their curvy hips and thighs, and their big asses.
Khloe kardashian actually came out with a line of jeans I believe through princess poly or no, maybe it was fashion nova. and they were designed specifically for girls with shapely figures like herself. they are a completely unique design and not like most jeans. I saw a really positive review on it.
basically the dilemma for these girls, is there is often a lot of gapping going on in the back. because it fits their ass, but not their tiny waist. the truth is, there is no one size fits all brand and so I think its really great that they're making jeans specifically for every figure and shape now.
just a heads up if you're looking for some jeans that really make the thigh/ass look good while fitting extremely well and comfortably.
