one time I was invited to a house party in college by a lovely girl with blonde braids. she hosted the party, she was very nice and proper. and I got billigerantly drunk on cheap beer, and I was also stoned too. and then I decided to leave randomly? I don't know why.

See, with the right company you'd have people laughing at that retort instead of creating an environment for you to socially cut yourself with.

A lot of confidence can come from just keeping the right company. Even the low end of furries, total suicidal social rejects, have found workarounds for their subcultural struggles.

Prompity Prompt: what type of drunk are you? what are some classic things you do while drunk?

I mostly remember becoming more flirty, overtly challenging, openly emotional, and a little bit grabbier (within reason but in general it's a lot easier to touch stuff). It also becomes a shit ton easier to give into a party driven variant of my Nihilism that is prone to saying "Who cares what they think?" in relation to making a fool out of ourselves in front of complete strangers (if anything their expressions and glances make it feel kinda exhibitionist-y).

If I remember any direct stories worth telling I'll give it a shot here, but in my history I've been more of an on-and-off ganja smoker than a drinker thanks to my absolutely shabby tolerance. Give me two or more proper Long Islands and my memories will be murky if not gone.

I prefer drinking mostly as a social thing, as drinking without socializing being involved is plain depressing.
