Just because we are bringing to light serious dark issues doesn’t mean that we are not still moving toward the light. As a “society” or as humanity as he called it.
Maybe the reason we cast these horrible dark issues onto these pop icons is because these are ailments in our world that we face that we desire to bring up to bring change to and the more prefer and it is and more awareness that comes about about it, it actually prevents the issue from worsening and raise ideas about solving it or preventing it to protect children in this case
Pop icons are societies blank canvases which they can paint onto them whatever issues they identify with and feel a part of as a movement and desire change in. So at this time that’s what was cast onto MJ. With others it was aids, like Keith Herring. And he chose to own it rather than reject it. And raised awareness about aids in a huge way in the 80s with his extremely famous art which today is worth millions.
this video came off a bit like a “leave Brittany alone video” You even have the eye makeup heavy dark eyeliner on a male to sort of seal the deal.
But yeah, as far as that issue goes, there have been people who came forward together and for no larger gain said they were molested by him in their youth in micheal Jackson’s house. Now whether they were coerced or just making it up, who knows, but they weren’t cashing in on it as far as I know. They both have gone on talk shows and done interviews about it and seem to genuinely emotionally struggle with the topic a great deal to the point that it’s very believable, if not, they are really good at acting.
Like, I took it with a grain of salt when I watched the videos because even I didn’t want to believe it partly and also because I knew, there’s always a chance they’re just, lying.
