I met a young zionist recently. She reincited in me a morbid curiosity for fascism. She was kind and generous, and small minded in subtle ways. She deemed some dogs stupid for exhibiting behaviour she didn't understand, and seemed to write off most things out of her direct comprehension as such. Stupid.
What was intensely noticeable was her sense of purpose in life and her confidence. After she took her guard down and opened up I realised how cautious she had been about her political position - The whole world tells lies about her after all, because as a Jew she has always been hated.... And if you don't support ISrael, you're for Hamas.
It's a tricky thing to witness a youngster brainwashed into fascism on these historical arguments, and as a serial doubter her case intrigued me. I find it hard now to judge fascists by their political views because they may just be indoctrinated by really good arguments and misinformation
