You give it and I'll try to solve it

This one should be easy:

y = x-5

x/y=z

z = (x+x)/10

Solve for y.

Does y = 4.09? (I never had a proper education yet)

Nope, the end product should not be going into decimals.

 Can you explain the logic? I am genuinely curious precisely because you have not had a proper education.

I could see this as interesting to you the way Outsider Music's gripped at me.

 Just finished the video, and yeah, pretty much that.

 It's interesting to see where a mind not constrained by convention can lead especially given the instances where the conclusion is  a level of genius that is so original that it ends up not subverting the current insiders but influencing the next generation of insiders.

In mathematics you have Banach, Heaviside, and Ramanujan (though there are several others) whom all revolutionized the discipline despite being completely self taught. Banach created modern functional analysis which is the basis of partial differential equations which are prevalent in engineering and physics. Heaviside was a recluse who lived with his parents and was obsessed with the telegraph, he found Vector Calculus which is the modern approach of Calculus using matrices that makes it insanely easy and intuitive to play with multiple dimensions (all of physics utilizes this). Finally you have the essence of outside, Ramanujan was a poor Indian who was completely self taught but ended up becoming the the greatest number theorist of the 20th century.

I have hope that the internet will expand this outsider phenomena by subverting the convention and political reality of academic institutions. It is no longer the case that you need a University library to access great works, they are all on the web for free. In mathematics where all you need is a creative mind the primary utility of the University has been dethroned.

 I forgot how I solved it, but I can show you how I attempt to solve peaches and though I will have fun with it, I can promise you the answer will be wrong. Also tc if your interested I made a.song since you like shitty music. https://vocaroo.com/1efY6FUW22vb
