Zoomers born in 2000-2004ish have a different generational culture than those born after. This is because access to the internet and technology reached a critical mass around 2004-2008 and then you had kids FULLY emersed in it as opposed to partially. Another reason for this difference between later zoomers and early zoomers is that the internet as a whole became more centralized and corporate and less scattered, allowing a sort of monoculture controlled by the corporate interests running the internet and therefore the culture of the generation living on it.
This is why these tik tok kids are a different breed entirely than people more like my age. They never experienced the true open frontier of the internet and didn't get enough time outside. They lived in this insulated corporate world of social media and the modern amazon owned internet. This impacted their culture and behavior. With COVID lockdowns becoming the new normal, this is only bound to get worse.
