Rare Book Collection

I've begun adding a number of rare books to my bookshelf and am rather excited about them to be honest so as I add more I will share them because of autism

Foundations of Analysis: The Theory of Limits - Herbert S. Gaskill & P.P. Narayanaswami

Good condition versions cost around $70-$100 USD and I got this one that is marked up for $33.

It's a decent edition but it its from the library of UC Santa Cruz as such it's not worth as much as other editions. I had bought another version of this text, a much cleaner edition in great condition, but unfortunately it got lost in transit. Nonetheless, I am ecstatic to finally have it in my hands as it is one of the most comprehensive texts ever written on the Limiting process.

I tried to go through my dad's library at some point to (futilely) monetize "rare" books. But I see that's not your aim.

If he has anything on probability I would be interested.

Add them all to poshmark. Rare books will take longer to sell bc buyers will be few and far between, but when someone out there is looking for a specific book they will be very thankful to find you selling it.

You may fascinate a woman by giving her a piece of cheese.

Logical Foundations of Probability - Rudolf Carnap

Carnap in this text embarks on a serious attempt to justify Probability which to this day is still highly controversial in so far as logical foundations go.

The Theory of Probability - Hans Reichenbach

I recently read Reichenbach's dissertation The Concept of Probability and it was excellent though extremely flawed, he attempts a neo-kantian justification of objective probability. After reading that I knew I needed more so I decided on this text as it is the most mature version of his theory on foundations of probability.
