Conservatives/Republicans tend to believe that the status quo is good, and vote against equal rights for women and poc, wealth distribution, that sort of thing.

It was only when a black president was elected, at the same time the Americans were displacing half the middle east, turning them into asylum seeking refugees, that ppl who normally voted liberal/dem started to get angry with their former leaders and went running for the first pseudo conservative to make an entrance.

Blame some of that on the end of the Cold War. The Russians were The Joker to the Americans' Batman. They needed that struggle to feel like they were living up to their own Manifest Destiny doctrine. Srsly. It's all up in all the American Studies courses. Look it up if you want. All kinds of Americans rlly do believe that god talked to them through Jebediah Pilgrim and Ralph Waldo Emerson, and that makes them the best, and god's chosen ones to rule the earth lol

But that was more a Conservative view than a Liberal view. Until they had to listen to a black dude who's smarter than most Americans. Then Americans felt like the whole world was being turned upside down, I'm sure. Most of them couldn't stand having less power than their 'Obama Bin Laden.'

So no, Libertarians are usually just douchebros who jacked the left's narratives and inserted their own self interests where "breaking the shackles of oppression" used to be the common theme.

Leftists work for other people and want the entrepreneurs and owners to pay them more.

Rightists work for themselves and want to protect themselves without lossing the benefit of their hard work.

Less so than the "creativity" itself, where a creative person falls depends on weather they use their creativity to gain employment under someone else. or if they use it to start their own livelihood. (Which could however depend on their skill level)

But I noticed a discrepancy. Once you get far enough on the creativity spectrum and reach the fringe levels of creative innovation where it becomes almost genius, I notice many of these very creative people have this sorta libertarian anti-authority view rather than a regular leftist worldview.

The libertarian agenda is the "leave us alone" party, and intelligence tends to follow sensitivities. This makes it one step closer to resembling Conservativism, but the right tends to get to the same conclusion over groupthink fears as opposed to the jaded libertarian's more singular views. 

If you see someone smart, they are likely more nervous and self-directed than the brave dunderhead that claims everything's "easy". 

Perhaps it's this nuance and opposition to external powers that fuels their ability to create such profound and original works.

It roots towards what they ultimately want, but tends to get lost or conflated within unrelated subjects that they end up then treating as dealbreakers. 

Example: Voting for Trump to stop children from getting HRT.

 That's true. My views leaned farther left in my youth.

It was only recently that I started fussing about how our side gives too much money to fringe groups like trannies and w/e.

But that's bc old ppl's medical treatments take priority over somebody's artificial vagina.

It's about having the decency to take a little less when somebody in legitimate need has a shortfall, but also having the decency to speak out when some greedy fuck is the one responsible for the smaller and weaker ones getting battered and starved.

It comes down to need vs want, with a carefully designed and well balanced program where both merit and need are considered.
