I dated one, and while that did give me some exposure to them that's as far as I'll go. 

I have otherwise over the years reported on the psychologically damaging effects of the furry community, both from phenomenon within it and from the overall setup.

 From my personal observation of furries they tend to be on the more neurotic side and lack self confidence.
