Smart people would realize that only time will tell what the vaccine actually does to you. COVID has long lasting effects, so it is rational to expect the vaccine to have some kind of long term effect. If the vaccine has a long term effect, we will not know until time passes. The problem with the fast tracked vaccines isn’t that they might suck because they are untested, but that thy might suck because we don’t know what they will cause in the long term. That means any longer than six months. They were only studied for about that long, so we literally have no idea what will happen in a year. That’s why I’m not getting it. Other people can risk their health and make heard immunity a thing to save me, but I’m not trying to die a year from now because of a vaccine. I got the flu vaccine once and I got the worst flu ever and it lasted forever. I got the chicken pocks vaccine and I have no immunity to it somehow, and my sister got the chicken pocks and I never got it. Vaccines are not 100% predictable and I haven’t had a good track record with them, so no.
I had COVID last year, before it was a thing.
Unfortunately, getting tested for the antibodies to prove it is a big pain in my ass.
I'll make them test me for COVID antibodies before I consent to taking the vaccine.
I also want to know what a double dose of COVID is doing to other people who have had the virus and then been vaccinated before I consent.

Among the nearly one million Israelis vaccinated against coronavirus so far, some 240 Israelis have been diagnosed with the virus days after getting the shot, Channel 13 News reported Thursday.
The figure underscores the need for individuals to continue to protect themselves for weeks after being inoculated, as the body takes time to develop effective antibodies against the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes COVID-19.
The Pfizer vaccine is not made with the coronavirus itself, meaning that there is no chance anyone could catch it from the shots. Instead, the vaccine contains a piece of genetic code that trains the immune system to recognize the spiked protein on the surface of the virus and create antibodies to attack if it encounters the real thing.
But this process takes time, and studies of the vaccine so far have shown immunity to the virus rises only some 8-10 days after the first injection — and then only to around 50 percent effectiveness.
This is why the second dose of the vaccine, given 21 days after the first, is critical: It strengthens the immune system’s response to the virus, bringing it to 95% effectiveness and ensuring that immunity lasts. This level of immunity is only reached about a week after the second dose — or 28 days after the first.
Anyone who is infected a few days before getting the vaccine’s first dose or in the weeks before full effectiveness is reached is still in danger of developing symptoms. (Even when the vaccine reaches its top potential, there remains a 5% chance of this.)
Another matter to note is that studies have not yet determined whether the vaccine allows a person to carry the disease and spread it, without getting sick: It is possible that while one’s body would be largely protected from the virus after vaccination, mucous layers in the nasal passages, beyond the reach of antibodies, could still harbor multiplying virus particles.
While these would not harm the carrier — as any virus that enters deeper into the body would swiftly be destroyed by the trained immune system — they could still be expelled through the nose and mouth and infect others.
The vast majority of Israelis who have received the vaccine have reported no issues since getting the shot. Around one in a thousand people have reported suffering mild side effects, with only a few dozen seeking medical attention following the shot, figures published Wednesday showed.
The most common side effects reported were weakness, dizziness and fever, with 319 combined cases, the ministry said. Five also reported suffering diarrhea. Another 293 people reported localized symptoms where the injection was administered such as pain, restriction of movement, swelling and redness.
Fourteen people said they had allergic reactions such as itching and swelling of the tongue and throat.
Additionally, 26 people suffered what the ministry described as “neurological symptoms,” with 19 complaining of a tingly sensation in their arm.
The ministry noted that only 51 people (0.008%) of those who reported suffering any side effects said they sought medical attention for their symptoms.
According to the Kan public broadcaster, there have been four cases where people in Israel have died shortly after receiving the vaccination, but three of the four were deemed by the Health Ministry, as well as by both family members and doctors, to have been unrelated to the shots. The fourth case, an 88-year-old man who had serious preexisting health problems, is currently being investigated.
why or why not
In a nutshell, “It is dangerously misleading to say that vaccines make us "immune" or protect against disease, when in fact that is the exact opposite of the truth. Vaccines only drive disease deeper and cause us to harbor it chronically.” – Dr. Richard Moscowitz, MD
Before anyone asks...I do have a background in Immunology. Now that's cleared up... most of these COVID-19 vaccines are the new, untested RNA type vaccine. The regular vaccines you goths and I had as children, (in addition to the flu vaccine etc...) are B cell vaccines.
B cell vaccines don't create immunity, however. Here's why...
TH1 & TH2
(not my words but true nonetheless)
A balance of Th1/Th2 cells in the body is defined as immunostasis (or immune balance) and is required for optimum health and wellness. Vaccines promote a failure in immunostasis by making the Th2-type cells dominant.
In Natural Immunity, for example exposure to Measles, Th1 response externalises the infection and provides permanent immunity.
In Vaccine-Induced Immunity, Th2 response internalises the infection because the Immune System was forced into an emergency -based Th2 response and results in poor immune memory. Thus regular vaccine boosters are required throughout life.
T cells (thymus cells) are the major cell in the immune system; they direct and control all immune responses as well as immune memory. Subsets of T cells are the T-helper cells (Th). T-helper cells coordinate and direct the safest and most effective immune response. Using Moskowitz’s measles example, we know that, when infected with the measles virus naturally via the nasopharyngeal route, the body produces a Th1 response that externalizes the infection and provides permanent immunity. Fever, rash, coughing, sneezing, etc are signs of the body ridding itself of this infection. Bypassing the normal body lines of defense by injecting a vaccine forces the immune system into an emergency-based Th2 response which serves to internalize the infection. You don’t get the disease but are susceptible to the disease later since the Th2 response results in poor immune memory. So, if a natural, viral (measles) infection results in a Th1 response, why don’t we make vaccines that could elicit the same response.
Adjuvants are often employed to enhance the development of an efficacious specific response. The problem lies within what type of immune response is happening. TH1 is the cell-mediated immune response that happens after naturally acquiring an infection, and then TH2 humoral kicks in with antibodies and ensures immunity, but, they work in tandom. Vaccination uses adjuvants to stimulate a TH2 response, bypassing the TH1, which puts the immune system into a perpetual state of confusion. This can kick in Autoimmunity for predisposed individuals (See the medical textbook “Vaccines and Autoimmunity” by world renowned immunologist Dr. Yehuda Shoenfeld MD).
The vaccination process itself destroys immune capacity by overstimulating the humoral TH2 immune response while never engaging the cell-mediated TH1 immune response. The immune system then stays in a state of agitation, which leads to all sorts of chronic health problems, injury and death. And, never confers immunity (e.g., booster shots are required to create more antibodies - the only measurement of "vaccine effectiveness"). On the other hand, when a child naturally gets an infection a proper TH1 immune response occurs, and then TH2 kicks in, tags the antigens with antibodies and we now have immunity. No need for booster shots.
"What people don't know about vaccines --what most doctors don't know-- but well demonstrated in medical literature, is that vaccines shift your immune system to an immune suppression type of state called the "TH2 shift." That's what most vaccines do. They shift your immune system to a weaker, antibody type immune system... If you're injecting people with so many vaccines that your keeping them in this constant state --that now your switching everyone to this TH2 immune suppression-- then everyone becomes more susceptible [to infectious diseases]... and no one is talking about that. Now, a lot of scientists know that, but they are afraid to speak out because their careers would be ruined." - Dr. Russell Blaylock M.D. Neurosurgeon

Few more quotes from medical doctors...
“I found the whole vaccine business was indeed a gigantic hoax. Most doctors are convinced that they are useful, but if you look at the proper statistics and study the instances of these diseases you will realize that this is not so.” – Dr. Archivides Kalokerinos, MD
“To create fear among parents to strengthen their motivation to vaccinate is an important part of the publicity used to promote vaccinations. A whole branch of research is examining the question: What level of fear needs to be created to appear as convincing as possible?” – Dr. Gerhard Buchwald, MD
"In 1866, an English physician described a very strange illness. Children looked like Mongols. His name was Down. That’s why we call it Down’s Syndrome today... I should add that this syndrome is a result of the vaccinations carried throughout England by Jenner in 1796... It (Down’s Syndrome) is probably the first congenital disease caused by vaccinations. In Germany, the first child with evidence of Down’s Syndrome was reported in 1922. Today, one in every 700 newborns has it." - Dr. Gerhard Buchwald, MD
“I’ll talk about vaccines. Number one, vaccines make people sick. They don’t work. They don’t protect. The use of vaccines is totally wrong! It’s perfect nonsense based on fear. They are dangerous. One child out of five has overwhelming disabilities from vaccines – neurological problems, seizures. I’ve got a whole list. There are plenty of books on this subject. Doctors don’t even read about this.” -Dr. Guylaine Lanctot, MD
“I vaccinated both my children with the MMR jab, but this was before I started my research into the problems associated with it. Knowing what I know now, I would not vaccinate my children and run the risk of them getting diabetes, asthma, eczema, becoming more susceptible to meningitis and ending up chronically disabled.” – Dr. Jayne Donegan, GP
I could add hundreds more quotes but I can't be arsed.
Yes. 95% immunity, no significant side effects.
How much time does it take to determine side effects?
