I don't have a beard nor do I wear flannel. So what I listen to some out there shit, but to be fair my favorite 21st century artist is Kanye. So see? I must not be a hipster. I don't drink craft beer. I don't have tattoos. Don't you see? Hipsters as a subculture are conformists in of themselves. A hipster?! No, not me. I identify with no subculture except the one within my own head. I am the alpha individualist anti groupthink maverick and I completely and totally reject this deplorable label.

Hipster as a subculture isn't me at all. However if you wanna define it that way then I guess so.
Hipster isn't a subculture, it's what steers subculture.
They're the ones who insist on being different, first, and through them all trying within the same constraints they end up resembling eachother.
They are the people who insist they are above others for their originality, typically reflecting within self-expressive irony a conformity of it's own design through aiming to avoid it that hard.
