I'm giving my sister a few hundred pokemon cards. 

She's a bigger poke-nerd than Med & Chapo combined and my dad mentioned that her new bf has a way bigger card collection than her so he always wrecks her when they play.

I collect rather than play so almost everything is perfect condition and there's a lot of rare cards, holo, special edition, etc in here. She's always been jelly of my collection, so I think she will appreciate it. I'm giving her everything except the first edition of the original 151.

 I laugh that I traded a Charizard with blast burn for favors 

 Back in 1999, my dad was at a shop with a friend of his and the shop had the brand new first gen shiny Charizard cards in plastic card covers behind the counter. My dad's friend told him "you should buy those, those will be worth a lot of money one day." So he bought one for myself and each of my sisters for $10 each. He gave mine to me when I turned 19. I keep it in a card sleeve, inside a hard plastic protector, inside a safe. I'm not selling it until I'm 50.
