I remember seeing these ugly mother fuckers in the store and even then when they were new they were ducking cheap and no one wanted them unless you were a geek 

(this was before mp3s were made cool by apple)

theit first few originals were flops being sold in the crappy tech section of Walmart where you buy batteries and shitty head phones
