I watched this one too, I was sad about what they wound up finding. But, honestly I didn't think they would find her at all so, it was kind of relieving that at least they found the body and knew ya know, where she was. 

As far as what happened though, do you have any speculations as to what happened? 

I think it's obvious someone killed her, because no hotel guest would even know about the water tanks and it's an oddly specific way to kill oneself. Clearly was hotel staff, or someone who knew hotel staff very well. It's really difficult to move a dead or limp unconscious body so I speculate at least two individuals. 

There's still a slight possibility that it was suicide and she had psychotic depression which is what caused the strange paranoid behavior and hallucinations. And then she went up to the roof to jump off, saw the water tank was open or unlocked while she was sitting there thinking about ending her life and decided that was how she wanted to do it instead. Or, she fell in on accident. 

But I feel like percentage wise those last two scenarios are less likely. She was depressed, she was definately hallucinating. Medical histories unknown, but her tumblr was riddled with depression and suicidal ideation. She was very lonely. And, perhaps she took the trip while in a psychotic episode or started having one there. Not undertanding yet the extent of her illness and her need for treatment. 

And... she wandered up to the roof and fell in. I really don't know. 

It doesn't make any sense though because no one knew about those stair cases or had access to them unless you were an employee, and the water tanks were supposed to be locked and could only be unlocked by an employee, it wasn't standard procedure they'd be left unlocked- but when they found the water tank with her in it, it had been left unlocked- while the others were locked. 

So, that sounds really deliberate. It's possible she was even hanging out with someone or meeting someone up there. 

Because, what college age girl just books a hotel and stays there for a weekend by herself? 

She was probably even meeting someone, I dunno. Her life appeared lonely but maybe she was hiding a secret relationship, she travelled there to meet them and they killed her- or, she travelled there to break up with them, and they accidentally killed her. 

Most people don't just kill at random but that particular hotel was more likely to attract those kind of visitors and staff. Because of it being famously, haunted. 

God only knows. smh. It's a real thinker. Would obviously require a really detailed investigation and even then the case would probably still go cold.

The hotel she was staying in was known to be for youngsters who partied hard since the place was cheap and right in front of skidrow where all the dealers sells their dope on bright daylight.

Previously, her roomies asked the receptionist to change rooms because she was behaving erratically ( she was on prescribed drugs and stopped taking them ).

One day she decided to party by herself, probably motivated by the lack of her own prescribed meds, she did it by herself, hence her weird behavior on camera as someone who is paranoid to their core.

After going all over the hotel trying to hide herself from her hallucination, she went to the rooftop and entered the barrel without realizing there was no ladder to climb off.

There was drugs in her system. Cause of the death: drown. She was exhausted enough to resist not drowning.
