I think that the rate of suicide would be higher if you took away the choice to do it. If someone wants to gamble with their life, does it make them Insane or does it just mean that they are suffering?
A lot medications we take do more harm than good, or at the very least do harm us in some way or risk negative potential outcomes on our health.
there are people who take horomones for other reasons not just transitioning as well, and they’re allowed to weigh the risk. Like for example people who are born with the inability to grow properly, are given the option to take a growth horomone so they will be normal height but then they risk cancer heart attack stroke early death etc.
this isn’t much different than that.
people risk their lives everyday when they get into a car, and a lot of people do dumber shit than that. At the end of the day it is their choice to weigh the risk.
