this happens way too often, I even have three huge post boxes that are there specifically for this purpose with my apartment number on them 

i bet the delivery guy was black

when I was in germany I saw a post guy smoking a joint sitting on a bunch of boxes that said amazon, who knows if they were fragile or not

My house is very hard to find due to the weird layout of my street, so i have lots of problems with package deliveries. I'm lucky i have very nice neighbors

i added a special to each delivery with a picture detailing how to get to the mailbox 

i will wait and see, should arrive today
