With me it was the opposite. I thought if I change it they would know they hurt me 🤣🤣🤣 played it cool and invaded the fridge at home 😎😂
Forced feminization? 
I got my long hair cut by very drunken accident. Was with my brother and his army mates and we went for a few drinks before going for a haircut, and ended up getting the same haircut as them. I felt devastated at first, but soon got used to it and realized i had been spending way to much time and effort on my long hair, and have never tried to grow it again since. I thought people might assume i had changed it due to outside pressure, as i did used to take a bit of abuse about it, but it turned out nobody really gave a fuck about my hair either way.
