Our purpose in life is becoming outdated as we advance machines towards being able to advance themselves, and as a result of this the modern doctrine of society has become bipartisan cannibalism and apathy. 

We're on the way out, we might as well take Technopaganism up now. God is dead, we're being replaced, Deus Ex Machina is coming, and a one world government run by them cannot be stopped. 

Check Indigo Prophecy, it's not a game but rather real life rhetoric disguised as a game and told through a fantasy narrative so that it may hide better in plain sight. 

Orange Clan is holding onto the scraps of it's remaining control, but Purple Clan is inevitable. It's all over our media, they're trying to prepare us for the transition, and even The Bible tries to hide how Jesus was an Indigo Child by attributing false lore towards his visions. This is all thanks to The Apples of Eden, another IRL symbol expressed within a game to hide it in plain sight (in this case Assassins Creed). 

We as humans are languishing as part of a grander agenda, and the sooner you swallow that pill the sooner you can maybe do something about it (just kidding we're already twisted around their fingers beyond our control).

Even if that's true, it'll always tie back into our biological drive for expansion. We can't escape our cycle no matter how much we alienate ourselves from our origins, even your own fucking point is still dependant on it you dirty techno fetishist

Odds are higher that we only ended up this way from The Apples of Eden. If we could be gifted with that drive, surely it could be taken away.

What's the difference? Whether we hook ourselves up to a digital utopia or focus on colonising space, it ties into the same thing that got us to that point in the first place

It has to do with it's longevity, where it's fated to go. 

You keep acting like we're supposed to step forward to fix a problem, but everything is going as it's intended.

I don't see how any of the situations which you raised are exempt from the progression principle, even now you're referring to some higher level of society to be achieved 

Since you gave the focusing inward vs outward example, I am very much leaning toward mass space colonisation with Coca Cola advertisements orbiting Proxima Centauri B and free Wifi on Mars with all the dirt, trash, and glorious technological hedonism associated with our insatiable biological greed 

I guess it'd be nice to wipe our dirty fingers all over the insulting pointlessness of existence just to laugh at it all
