Why white people don't like black movies (IndieWire article)

Why-white-people-dont-like-black-movies

A vast majority of White people don’t like Black movies because they lack the empathy necessary to identify with Black characters which in turn affects their ability to “suspend disbelief” and surrender to the narrative of a Black film.  What has been called the Racial Empathy Gap in various sociological studies conducted by researchers at the University of Milano-Bicocca and the University of Toronto Scarborough have revealed that,” The human brain fires differently when dealing with people outside of one’s own race.”

What are the implications of this idea? I don't agree with it personally because I saw "Us" recently and liked it loads and was able to empathise with the negroes playing in it. The article further down claims that black people have no choice but to like white movies, because of the racial disproportionality. I think the notion that different races don't empathise as well with each other is ludicrous.

FYI I came across this after seeing a webm on 4chan where black-washing of historical fiction (based on actual history) was correlated with jewish directors. One the sources is Jason Silverstein kek
