So I was thinking about starting a blog because I feel like the type of content I post does not match the setting here very well, and also because it would be fun to organize things a little better into sections rather than threads.
I've fiddled around with some blogging platforms and other website hosts.
If you know good hosts or platforms... lemme know.
I'm kind of being picky about it. Like, I want to to be highly customizable, while still simple to do so- not like, programming. But also modern and not dated what so ever or janky looking. Like, crisp professional modern. Smooth/fast operating. Aesthetically pleasing.
I think I may end up going with Wix just because the look of that appears decent. But other platforms I've considered before were Wordpress, Blogger, and Squarespace. These are blogging platforms which I can work with. But then I've dabbled around with a few free website hosts and found them to be more difficult to essentially 'program' aka, doing all the work on the back end to make it look right. It takes longer than it would just to use one of these user friendly blogging platforms or templates.
But if you have any thoughts on which one is better, or if you know of another one that's better... let me know? lol
