They could take classes, go for more walks, volunteer, get out and do things, find a 12 step group for the other problems that keep them from talking to people.

I'm telling you, I went through my ugliest fat phase ever right after my son was born. I gained about 50 lbs, my face broke out in pimples and liver spots bc of the pregnancy, I was bleeding twice as heavily as I should have been for about 6 weeks, and had frequent bloody accidents. The afterbleed was always soaking through my pads. I was a mess.
