longform is a hurdle I've had to get over with american content in general 

i have learned to appreciate it more now though, it's a pleasant relief from the usual quick relief comedy, it feels a little more subtle and clever which is refreshing

It's definitely more demanding, but I prefer that over cheap sentiments and clickbait when I want to know about something.

Agreed, but the snippets are helpful for knowing where I ought to go deeper in the first place. Seeing the Rayshard Brooks snippet for example inspired me to watch the bodycam footage for the deeper scoop, but without said snippet I may have never checked it at all. 

If their best parts are at like the 20 minute mark, a compilation if I stop it quickly enough's more like a commercial.
