Yeah unfortunately a lot of people get really spun up by the political sphere. They get their emotions and psychology so tangled up in it that, they start to see everything with that scope, and everything becomes, extremely oppositional, it creates division.
Instead of just seeing another human being as a human being, it's just, "one of *those* people" and it can go as far as judging them by their looks, assuming their political beliefs, and determining they are a harm to, your beliefs and values in some way. Or a nuissance or hindrance on society.
They're so angry about the world's problems, and swept up in the news, and political arguments on facebook- they can't take off the lense to see the person they're really talking to.
