What about it? Wear a mask etc etc, Covid isn't that scary, small chance you'd die with it, I got it and I'm alive. Unless you have a weak immune system, then treat it more seriously. Just jog on pathways that are empty.
That only stops your own risk of transmitting the virus, not your means of acquiring it, hence why people are getting mad at 'hoaxers' for not wearing them (and consequently the 'hoaxers' are becoming increasingly defensive).

So you went through the loss of taste and smell that's signature of the disease as well as the upper respiratory damages that last after the fact, or did you just confuse it for the flu like Xena did?

Even with a strong enough immune system you can still risk being a carrier, spreading it to other people around you.

I got tested for it and had it. I've recovered now. My dad got it from work and passed it to everyone in my immediate family.

Just stay away from people. I imagine as someone who frequently visits this website, that's what you enjoy the most anyway.

Lol so let me get this straight, the guy who actually caught COVID-19 is the one telling us everything's fine? Reminds me of the HIV crowd talking about how it's not full blown aids, but rather the means of getting aids, so it's just fine.
How'd that experience go for you though, and did you carry away any permanent damages?

I actually rather like people.

I recovered in like a week, except for my sense of taste/smell, my case was basically a cold. My Uncle however got hospitalized twice and sometimes requires oxygen tanks to help him breathe properly.

I'm sure you do

I guess it's kinda like chicken pox in that way, but I'd still rather not risk it when permanent damages remain a risk.
How long has your sense of smell/taste been affected by COVID-19?

Why do you figure I'd want to stay away from them then?

I still can't taste or smell well. For reference I recovered from other symptoms around the time I joined SC.
