I tend to get stronger connections out of control freaks, as cleansing repression is a great way to bond. A person who challenges themselves instead of just relaxing all the time also has more of a chance of pulling potential from themselves, and will be generally more motivated towards things like self-improvement, the arts, etc.
Chill people are alright, but they aren't as inherently rewarding through already being so chill. Fixing a control freak's stress leads to much better stuff than someone who's just inherently comfortable, and sometimes their relaxing, from having it be less common, outshines the default veggie through how hard they've had to work at accomplishing it normally. It's the difference between sleeping on the sofa and preparing a nice rose scented bath.
Granted, I am basically saying that I like control freaks because chilling them out makes them cooler than already chill people, which still supports the merits of being chill. Watching someone who can't relax finally do it has "being chill" seem like a hot tub experience instead of a slow paced lifestyle, and that makes it seem more inherently decadent and hedonistic by comparison.
That look of releasing carried strain is so nice, and I find it easier to relate to self-challenged people. I can admire someone who looks so comfortable for being a natural, but I don't inherently "get it".
