Mainly because I guess when I listened to Dr. Steel as younger Chaotik, there was also Voltaire around, as edgy as the music comes off.

Rion Vernon is pretentious as hell but also massively underrated.
I love his work but he appeals to a cringe crowd in spite of it being quality otherwise (his writing less so). The guy's music teetered into genre fusion and had a good recognition of funk that he tried to have contrast jarringly rigid patterns. Even this is like if the lead singer from Red Hot Chili Peppers became a cyborg and went to the carnival, he takes odd risks with his work.
He's a hell of an Illustrator too, worth checking if you are already exposed to the guy. He also still actively works from his Patreon under his real name.

Yea, I saw his portfolio awhile back when I looked him up to see what he was up to if anything. I saw the steamgirl stuff which I wasn't expecting but interesting all the same.
