4Chan is a website of contradicting ideals. It is painted by the mass media as a far right cesspit, this is only partially true. It's worse. It's a far right cesspit with occasional moral grandstanding. However, these morals ultimately get suspended when the id of its users cannot be contained, which is most of the time. Their morality only comes out when it's convenient.

Case in point, the Netflix cuties movie. Droves of people on 4Chan came out to condemn it, because it was a left leaning movie and being far left, gave them a good opportunity to virtue signal to deliver to blow to the other side. But when there isn't a left wing made pedo dog whistle out there to lambast, it's widely documented that 4Chan is absolutely teeming with pedophiles that all-but openly endorse it. The problem is very rampant there.

Another thing is all the "family" or "conservative" or "white" family values they espouse being suspended for their own acts of overt degeneracy. 4Chan is a very degenerate atmosphere, yet the people there act like they have all these mighty values. If they truly are better than the left and their values are great, maybe they should follow their own values.

There's nothing wrong with wholesome trolling like the Shia Lebough flag saga but when you're exploiting minors, doxxing people, encouraging to kill themselves, ect... that's not not innocent, it's damaging and squarely in opposition to so called conservative values.

I think this isn't just a 4Chan issue, but indicative of a greater deficiency for the right online overall. Good values, but behavior that doesn't align with the values in the form of behavioral or sexual degeneracy.

Of course, the left also has its own massive shortcomings on and offline, but it's important for the right to be self aware of its own shortcomings and hypocrisies. The society they seek to build will never last if their behavior in it is anything similar to their behavior online today.

Wow, it's almost like 4chan has multiple users who think and act independently with contradicting ideas and they arent just a giant hivemind. What a wild concept. That's like trying to condemn everyone on this website who is disgusted by Cuties, just bc jim and cawk are here.

The flaw in your logic here is that you are blaming a group of people who are only barely associated with each other for being hipocrites, merely because different individuals are acting contradictory to each other. Can you find a single example of a single person condemning the movie and spouting right wing family values while also openly endorsing their own pedophilia?

Your whole point seems to be that you are just angry every single member of 4chan doesnt fit a nice little stereotype box.

The outrage over Cuties wasn't about its politics. It was about how there's about a solid 20 minutes of 11 year olds twerking, gyrating, sticking their fingers in their mouths reminiscent of a phallus...I can go on, but I think you get the picture. But to be fair, the left is in some serious need for reform when it's tacit with this kind of cultural "education."

Yeah... not all of 4chan is /b/ or /pol/, and even they are different from the 8kun crowd.

There's actually a notable amount of infighting on 4chan, but when the posts aren't permanent and there's no names attached it's easy to forget about.

I suppose for the sake of argument that the above demographic could critique the film for not being pedophilic enough..?

To combine right wing values with pedophilia they usually have to be pretty rich with some warped idea of God's desires, like a televangelist or something.
